What You Need To Know For Camp!!!

TRADITIONAL CAMP (Ages 4 - 14)
COST: $280/R, $300/NR, (per child/per session)
AGES: 4 - 14
SESSIONS: One, Two, Three & Four
A mix of traditional "summer camp" activities with unique Pawling Summer Camp events you'll never forget!
Kids need camp and we can't wait to be outdoors in a safe way!
Our Traditional Camp will include the classic camp activities kids love: arts, sports, free swim, and outdoor play.... but the fun does not end there. We are always incorporating NEW options to make the summer unique and exciting! Especially in a year with many enhanced safety and hygiene protocols, we will be making sure there is a lot to enjoy...no matter what!
You can expect smaller camp groups, daily health check-ins, and mask wearing. We will be doing everything in our power to give campers a memorable summer in 2021 here at Lakeside Park. More information about exact protocol on-site will be made available as we get closer to summer time. We work closely with the Dutchess County Department of Health and will adhere to local/current guidelines.
“ADVENTURES IN LEADERSHIP” CAMP* (for incoming 9th-12th graders)
Cost:$325 R, $345 NR (per camper/per session)
GRADES: Going into 9th and Up

"Every day is an Adventure"
We are excited to offer “Adventures In Leadership” Camp to our summer line up for older and emerging leaders. This new program is designed specifically for high schoolers who want to build strong leadership skills for any future roles they seek - not just for future camp jobs, for any job!
They will observe counselors as role models, find community inspiration with local leaders, AND adventure into the great outdoors while having a blast with friends! These older campers will experience true nature immersion while focusing on team-building, outdoor education and survival strategies. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff will encourage cooperative problem solving, creative exploration and even event planning. All this will be done while bonding with peers, trying something new AND having fun.
*"Adventures in Leadership Camp" is NOT a CIT program. This is a completely new camp experience tailored to the interests of campers in 9th grade and up. We will not be hosting the traditional CIT program this summer due to our enhanced safety protocol.
Camp Membership Registration & Fee:
A camp membership must be purchased for each camper, including Adventures In Leadership Camp, to proceed with the registration process.
There will be a one-time $20 fee. This fee covers the cost of camp tee shirts, supplies and hygiene materials.

In order to complete your registration, ALL THREE of these documents are required to be on file and must be current (within the last year):
1) Physical Form, 2) Immunization Record & 3) Mandatory Physician’s Orders.
The physical form must be updated each year. Medical forms expire after one full year.
If we do not have ALL paperwork on file your child will NOT be permitted to attend camp and no refunds will be given. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All forms are required to participate in any camp program according to the NYS Department of Health.
These forms MUST be delivered directly to the park office as soon as possible.

REMINDER: In order to secure a spot for your child this summer FULL PAYMENT and MEDICAL PAPERWORK must be submitted. SPACE WILL BE LIMITED so we strongly encourage finalizing your registration as soon as possible.
Our Snack Shack is open for campers! Please send your camper in with money if they want to buy an ice cream or a snack.
SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
Local organizations have a limited amount of camp scholarship fund available.Organizations representatives will award the scholarships based on:
1. financial need
2. interest and involvement in camp activities
3. potential growth and development through the camp experience
4. space & availability in the session
5. If needed, fill out one scholarship application per child
