Children and their caregivers are welcome to attend and play together in our indoor GAGA pit. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. WHAT: GAGA HourWHERE: Lathrop Building, Lakeside ParkWHEN: FridaysTIME: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PMCOST: $2 Drop in fee at the door (per child/per day)REGISTRATION REQUIRED WHAT IS GAGA: Gaga is a fast paced, high energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more players the better. Dubbed a kinder gentler version of dodgeball., the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit with the ball. Fun and easy, everyone gets a serious workout.

WE ARE AMPED FOR CAMP!The excitement of camp lasts all year long with individual camp days when you need them the most.Register for one, some, or all of the days coming up and we will provide the rest.Join us at Lakeside Park for classic camp activities along with unique experiences that you will see no where else.AMPED FOR CAMP DAYS are a great way to utilize Lakeside Park and be outdoors as much as possible. Long hikes, exploration, and outdoor activities are part of daily programming. Sports, art, and groups games are also included to make sure there is a variety for everyone's enjoyment. It is important for each participant to feel successful trying new things along the way.THINGS TO BRINGAlways come prepared with a full lunch, plenty of snacks and water, clothing appropriate for the weather, and sneakers for active play.During the summer months when the lake is open, we will swim each afternoon. Please have your child come prepared with sunscreen, towel, bathing suit, and a pair of dry clothes.PLEASE LEAVE THESE THINGS AT HOMEWe are a device-free camp environment. Do not send your child to any program with their personal cell phone or other electronics. If your child needs to contact you or you need to send a message to your child, please feel free to use the Recreation Office Phone at 845-855-1131.Please note: There are occasions where camp programming may include electronics and video games to encourage cooperative play. We do these things in a group setting and supervised environment. These games are a great way to enhance positive social skill-building and teamwork when utilized in this manner.Toys and other personal belongings are also encouraged to be left at home.8am-6pm each dayParents can drop off and pick up anytime during the day. Most structured group activities (hikes, swimming, projects, etc) will take place between 10am-4pm. This program is intended to be flexible to fit any schedule!$45R/$55NR per day, per childParticipants can be registered for one, some, or all days at once.

We will be swimming and having a great time beach side. Children will also have an opportunity to use some new equipment that we've added to the lake this year. A special treat from the Snack Shack will be given to each participant at the end of their swim time. Make sure your child brings a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen in order to participate to their fullest. Swimming is a very popular activity so we are offering Swim Club 2 days a week! If you want extra swim time you can sign up for "Swim Club Thursday"Tuesdays - Running ClubLets get outside! Participants will be active outdoors and challenge themselves to new distances each time we meet! Whether you are a beginner runner or an advanced athlete it's time to join a fun and active bunch. New to Running Club in June will be some exposure to the sport of Triathlon and different ways we can use our running skills to benefit us most!Wednesdays - Nature Club While enjoying the outdoors, participants will have new opportunities to explore and hike. We will collect and gather natural resources for games and creations. Scavenger hunts, fun experiments, and observations about the world will surely be part of Nature Club! ....Curious? Join us!Thursdays - Swim ClubWe are excited to use the lake with our Rec Club kids on "Swim Club Thursdays"! We will be swimming and having a great time beach side. Children will also have an opportunity to use some new equipment that we've added to the lake this year. The more players the better. Dubbed a kinder gentler version of dodgeball., the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit with the ball. Fun and easy, everyone gets a serious workout.

Pawling Triathlon Training Program Are you thinking of taking the plunge and doing your first triathlon? Or hoping to improve on a past performance? Have more fun and compete with more confidence by joining fellow triathletes this June at the Pawling Triathlon Training program. The program is coached by All American Triathlete James Kelly. James has been competing in triathlon since 1989 and has covered all distances including the Lake Placid Ironman. He is a personal trainer and coaches the Pawling high school track and cross country teams. The program will focus on- How to prepare for and navigate the Open Water Swim. How to make transitions fast and stress free. How to be more efficient and faster on the bike. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit with the ball. Fun and easy, everyone gets a serious workout.

Join us at Lakeside Park for a few fun activities each month with Recreation Staff! REC CLUBSThe main goal of all Rec Clubs at Lakeside Park is to encourage participants to socialize in a positive way with peers through shared interests.NEW! Upcoming Rec Clubs are now available for 4 different days during select weeks for more options! Choose a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OR sign up for ALL 4!Mondays - Swim ClubWe are excited to use the lake with our Rec Club kids on "Swim Club Mondays"! We will be swimming and having a great time beach side. Children will also have an opportunity to use some new equipment that we've added to the lake this year. A special treat from the Snack Shack will be given to each participant at the end of their swim time. Make sure your child brings a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen in order to participate to their fullest. Swimming is a very popular activity so we are offering Swim Club 2 days a week! If you want extra swim time you can sign up for "Swim Club Thursday"Tuesdays - Running ClubLets get outside! Participants will be active outdoors and challenge themselves to new distances each time we meet! Whether you are a beginner runner or an advanced athlete it's time to join a fun and active bunch. New to Running Club in June will be some exposure to the sport of Triathlon and different ways we can use our running skills to benefit us most!Wednesdays - Nature Club While enjoying the outdoors, participants will have new opportunities to explore and hike. We will collect and gather natural resources for games and creations. Scavenger hunts, fun experiments, and observations about the world will surely be part of Nature Club! ....Curious? If you have checked "yes, my child will need transportation" upon registration, it is your responsibility to make those arrangements with the transportation office; however, we will follow up with the schools to cross-check their current bus list each month.

Children and their caregivers are welcome to attend and play together in our indoor GAGA pit. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. WHAT: GAGA HourWHERE: Lathrop Building, Lakeside ParkWHEN: FridaysTIME: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PMCOST: $2 Drop in fee at the door (per child/per day)REGISTRATION REQUIRED WHAT IS GAGA: Gaga is a fast paced, high energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more players the better. Dubbed a kinder gentler version of dodgeball., the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit with the ball. Fun and easy, everyone gets a serious workout.

Please register each child that will be participating in the program.This is not a drop off program, you must supervise your child(ren) at all times.A $2 donation at the door is appreciated, but never expected.

Are you over 35 and looking for something to do on a Friday night?  Head to Pawling Elementary School!  Pawling Recreation has reserved the gym time for those 35 and older looking to play some pick up basketball games.  Have fun while exercising as you run up and down the court.  Gym time starts at 7:00 pm and goes until 9:00 pm.  For more information call Mark Chipkin at 855-9155.

Pawling Triathlon Training Program Are you thinking of taking the plunge and doing your first triathlon? Or hoping to improve on a past performance? Have more fun and compete with more confidence by joining fellow triathletes this June at the Pawling Triathlon Training program. The program is coached by All American Triathlete James Kelly. James has been competing in triathlon since 1989 and has covered all distances including the Lake Placid Ironman. He is a personal trainer and coaches the Pawling high school track and cross country teams. The program will focus on- How to prepare for and navigate the Open Water Swim. How to make transitions fast and stress free. How to be more efficient and faster on the bike.
