Intro to Wrestling with Coach Joe Amuso is a beginner program for grades K-6 that will focus on basic techniques of wrestling. Participants will build body awareness and team building skills within a like-minded group. It is important for each participant to feel successful trying new things along the way.THINGS TO BRINGAlways come prepared with a full lunch, plenty of snacks and water, clothing appropriate for the weather, and sneakers for active play.During the summer months when the lake is open, we will swim each afternoon. Please have your child come prepared with sunscreen, towel, bathing suit, and a pair of dry clothes.PLEASE LEAVE THESE THINGS AT HOMEWe are a device-free camp environment. Do not send your child to any program with their personal cell phone or other electronics. We do these things in a group setting and supervised environment. Intro to Wrestling with Coach Joe Amuso is a beginner program for grades K-6 that will focus on basic techniques of wrestling. Participants will build body awareness and team building skills within a like-minded group. They will also gain strength, self-confidence and overall knowledge of the sport of wrestling.The season will conclude with a wrestler's showcase to demonstrate what each child learned during the program.Participants should come to each session wearing clean sneakers, comfortable gym attire (shorts/tee shirt) and a water bottle.

Fridays – Free Choice Friday! *You can now sign up for individual days based on your schedule, child's interest, or for the entire month!Our daily Rec Clubs are sure to make memories for kids with all interests and abilities. Each day will include a variety of activities but will have a designated time to feature our highlighted theme of the day.DAILY EXAMPLE SCHEDULE:2:45-3:30 - Middle School arrival & snack/peer sharing/chill time3:30-4:00 - Elementary School arrival & snack/chill time4:00-5:00 - Theme Rec Club activities & group games5:00-5:45 - Free Play/Free Choice/Open Idea time 5:45-6:00 - Reorganize & Parent Pick-UpOUR REC CLUB ENVIRONMENT IS DEVICE-FREE. We are always happy to speak over the phone in the office or communicate messages to your child through our staff. PRICING:$250/month per child* $15/daily rate per child*10% sibling discount applies to each additional child for the monthly option only.******************************************* Recipe Time: Every Monday, we will be able to create fun and easy recipes that don't require any cooking or baking. Each week they will be taught how to make a different treat and make their own recipe card to bring home so they can recreate the fun at home! Indoor Gaga: It's cold out but our favorite summer camp activity doesn't have to come to an end! We are so excited that we can still play gaga with our indoor inflatable gaga court! Each Tuesday we will have fun playing gaga in different and unique styles including Musical Gaga, Battleship Gaga, Scooter Gaga, and Backwards Gaga! Arts and Crafts: Join our special guest and local artist, Victoria Hayes. Each Wednesday your child will build on an individual, continuous project and doing both ensures more time for genuine creativity. If you can't sign up for both, just doing either the Tuesday or Thursday Club is still a win! We are really looking forward to fantastic, unique creations with the help of our special community guest!  Dodgeball: For anyone that loves dodgeball, this is guaranteed to be a blast with friends! There are many ways to play dodgeball so all ages can enjoy moving around, being active, and using tons of energy. Variations of this game will be played like Army Dodgeball, Fireball Dodgeball, Mission Impossible Dodgeball, Pokemon Dodgeball, and Free for All Dodgeball!  Free Choice Friday:Create a piece of art, build something new, or chill with friends while playing some games at Lakeside Park – the choice is open and all yours on Free Choice Fridays.Transportation Information: A transportation form must be on file with the Transportation Department in order to take the bus from school to Lakeside Park. If you have checked "yes, my child will need transportation" upon registration, it is your responsibility to make those arrangements with the transportation office; however, we will follow up with the schools to cross-check their current bus list each month.
